Who we serve and why we’re open to everyone

Active-duty service members, veterans, National Guard and Reserve members, military spouses, dependents, and family members. Alongside them: community supporters, employers, partners, and sponsors who show up when it counts.

Family serves too. A spouse holding down a household through a deployment, a child growing up on the move, a parent waiting for a phone call. Isolation doesn’t stop at the service member; it ripples through the whole house. That’s why the Foundation is open to the entire military-connected family, not just the one who wore the uniform.

And we don’t gate-keep the community around them either. Neighbors, employers, mentors, and civilians who want to stand alongside the mission are welcome. Belonging is one of the strongest protections against isolation, and belonging scales when a community shows up on purpose.

This is how the mission actually works. Our North Star is to strengthen the lives of those who serve by creating places where purpose, belonging, and community endure. Those places only endure when the whole family and a wider community fill them. A veteran-only room is a lonelier room. Every person counted here is one more seat at the table that would otherwise be empty.
