Community Guidelines
Last updated September 29, 2026· v1.0
How everyone using a Foundation surface is expected to treat everyone else. These guidelines apply to visitors, community members, teammates, partners, and providers alike.
1. Voice
Direct, plain-spoken, respectful. Free of profanity, slurs, and provocative language. Never disparaging toward any person or community we serve.
2. Respect
- Assume good intent. Ask questions before assigning motive.
- Feedback in the right channel, not broadcast.
- Report harmful behavior instead of retaliating.
3. Prohibited
- Harassment, discrimination, hate speech, or targeted intimidation.
- Threats, incitement, violence-glorifying content.
- Sexual content targeting minors, grooming.
- Doxxing, impersonation, deceptive identity claims.
- Deliberate misinformation about veterans’ benefits, health resources, or crisis services.
4. Self-harm and crisis content
Encouraging self-harm is not allowed. Awareness, prevention, and lived-experience content is welcome with a supportive, resource-forward tone. If you or someone you know is in crisis, use the /crisis page, call 988, or text 838255.
5. Automated moderation
Foundation surfaces use automated systems to detect prohibited content. See the Acceptable Use Policy.
6. Enforcement
Violations may result in warnings, content removal, temporary suspension, or removal at the Foundation’s discretion. See the Terms of Service.
