Ranks Portal Rules

Ranks is open to adults (18+). Service members, veterans, military spouses, dependents, and family members are the mission audience. Community supporters are welcome to participate respectfully alongside the mission audience.

Ranks accounts use your real name and a real photo. Anonymous accounts, impersonation accounts, and accounts created solely to promote a business or cause outside the Foundation’s mission may be suspended.

Do not post content that:

• Harasses, intimidates, or discriminates against another member.
• Threatens, incites, or celebrates violence.
• Sexualizes minors in any form.
• Reveals another member’s personal information without consent.
• Promotes fraud, scams, or predatory financial products.
• Spams the feed, groups, or direct messages.
• Violates the Foundation’s Community Guidelines.

Ranks is a community platform, not a crisis service. If you or someone you know is in imminent danger, call 911. Suicide + crisis support: 988 (call or text) or text 838255(Veterans Crisis Line). The Foundation’s crisis page lists additional resources.

Groups are informal affinity communities inside Ranks. Any member may propose a Group, subject to platform rules. Groups do not represent the Foundation.
Chapters are formally recognized units of the Foundation with a five-officer structure and approved authority to carry the Foundation name and mission. Chapters follow the Chapter Operations Manual and are subject to Board oversight.

Do not present a Group as an official Chapter.

Ranks is 18+. Presence indicators, direct-message reachability, and activity broadcasts route through the Foundation’s age-gated presence rules so we do not surface members inappropriately.

The Foundation may offer verified badges for identity, service, or role. Verification does not endorse a member’s statements or decisions. Verified status may be revoked for violations of these rules.

Use the Report action on any post, profile, or message to flag content for review. Moderators may hide, remove, or restore content and may suspend or restrict accounts for repeated or severe violations. Appeals may be sent to privacy@espritdcf.org.

Members may delete their own accounts from settings, or email privacy@espritdcf.org for help. Records the Foundation is required to retain will remain in accordance with retention obligations. Public posts and comments may be preserved in the community record with attribution generalized or removed where feasible.
