Our Commitment

What we publish, and why.

Donors, grant partners, and the Chicago veteran community deserve a straight look at how the Foundation operates. This page is where we publish the documents, numbers, and governance details that back everything else on this site.

We update this page as new filings are made available. Between filings, if anything material changes, we note it here.

Name Change Notice

Why some documents say “Esprit Wellness Foundation.”

Esprit de Corps Foundation was originally incorporated in Illinois under the name Esprit Wellness Foundation.

After receiving federal tax-exempt recognition from the IRS, the organization adopted the public name Esprit de Corps Foundation to better reflect our mission of serving veterans, military families, and the broader community through wellness, recreation, leadership, and connection.

Some historical government filings, tax records, or legal documents may still reference Esprit Wellness Foundation because they were issued before the name change or before all public records were updated.

Both names refer to the same nonprofit organization.

  • Federal EIN: 33-3012209
  • Illinois Charitable Trust Control Number: 01100577

There has been no change to the organization’s legal identity, tax-exempt status, or mission — only the public name under which we operate.
