Sponsor

Direct your sponsorship.

Six funds, one Foundation. Every sponsor selects a pillar, the Campus, or general operations — and every dollar is deployed to that fund only.

Pillar funds

Sponsor one of the four pillars.

Each pillar fund powers the specific programming under its name. Sponsor the work that aligns with your mission.

Pillar 01

Recreation & Adventure Fund

Physical wellness, on our terms.

Underwrites the kayak outings, group workouts, and outdoor programming that keep veterans and military families connected through movement.

Deployment

  • Outdoor programming — river trips, hikes, ruck events
  • Certified trainers and adaptive-sport facilitators
  • Equipment, safety gear, and venue rentals

Pillar 02

Community & Service Fund

Continued service, past the uniform.

Powers the Back to School Giveaway, neighborhood service days, and the year-round community events that keep veterans engaged in the neighborhoods where they live.

Deployment

  • Back to School backpacks, supplies, and haircut stations
  • Community-day logistics, food, and site permits
  • Neighborhood outreach materials and partner coordination

Pillar 03

Growth & Opportunity Fund

Careers, education, and next chapters.

Funds the mentorship pairings, career-transition support, and education stipends that carry veterans and military families into what comes after service.

Deployment

  • Certification and course stipends
  • Mentor training and peer-network events
  • Small-business, entrepreneur, and interview clinics

Pillar 04

Family & Belonging Fund

For everyone service touches.

Funds family programming, spouse gatherings, and Gold Star recognition — the work that treats the household, not just the service member.

Deployment

  • Family-day programming and childcare coverage
  • Spouse network events and retreats
  • Gold Star family recognition and support

Beyond a single pillar

The Campus. The organization.

Two funds cover work larger than a single pillar — the long-term physical home, and the operational spine that keeps every pillar running.

The Long-Term Vision

The Campus Fund

Chicago's permanent veteran community home.

Capital fund for the Esprit de Corps Campus — a permanent Chicago location for recreation, wellness, service, and family programming under one roof. Directed toward site work, design, and capital-campaign readiness.

Deployment

  • Site identification and development research
  • Architectural and community-design work
  • Capital campaign strategy and materials

Highest Leverage

General Operating Fund

Deployed where it solves the most problems.

Unrestricted funding covers everything a designated gift can't: insurance, technology, rent, staff coverage, emergency needs, and gap funding across pillars. Directors deploy it against the highest-priority operational need.

Deployment

  • Insurance, technology, and administrative overhead
  • Emergency and gap coverage across programs
  • Whatever a designated fund can't yet absorb

Recognition + reporting

Every sponsor gets a real report.

Sponsors are named in event programs, on event-specific pages, and in the Foundation’s annual impact report. Cash sponsors above $2,500 receive a co-branded social cadence during their sponsored season.

Every sponsor receives an annual report on the fund they backed — deployment, outcomes, and forward-looking spend. Numbers and narrative, no marketing collateral.

Gifts over $10,000, multi-year commitments, and in-kind arrangements are handled directly. Reach the giving team below.
